Notarial document entered before Balduin de Missy, provost of Laon, or his lieutenant Clement Joly recording the monastery of Saint-Jean de Laon's possession and seizin of Ville le Coq, which has been identified as "maison rue de Richebourg" by two later hands in marginal notes. Slits at foot of document with notarial signature and sign on verso. Marginal notes at top and along left margin; faded notes on verso. Two small holes and one 1.5 cm hole along one of the folds with loss of text; staining and wear elsewhere on the document with partial obscuring of text.
