Summary
Lease for the religious companions of the priory of Notre-Dame de Joigny. The priory leases by declaration before commissioners ordered by the king. Two signatures, one dated 12 November 1470, and small holes surrounded by traces of red wax from seals at foot of document. 2 x 47 cm strip stitched over the top edge. Date written in ink by a later hand at upper left corner; summary of the document written in ink on verso. Some staining, especially at lower right corner, with slight obscuring of text.
