Copy of a document issued by Philippe IV of France regarding the abbey of Saint-Vincent at Laon and its church at Saint Gobain in December 1291, made before the counselor of the King and guaridan of the seal of the bailiff of Vermandois at Laon in April 1485. 2 x 38 cm strip of parchment stitched over bottom edge of the document. Notes in ink by later hands at left hand margin and near top of the document. Some staining with slight obscuring of text. "21" written in pencil on the verso.
