In answer to a request from Pequestes, Charles des Pontaulx, and Yves du Mont Bourgeois of Melun, Charles VIII commands his judicial officers to proceed against soldiers who have been pillaging in the vicinity of Melun. Signed "Par le Roy a la relacion du conseil" with a notarial signature and sign. 17.7 x 4.6 cm section cut out from lower right corner. Some discoloration and small holes along creases. Notes in pencil at foot of document.
