Summary
Chirograph containing indenture between Lucy Baker of the County of Stafford, Richard Salt late of Hampstall Ridware of Lichfield, and Nicholas Arnold of Sandbor[?]e. Transfer and sales of property in Staffordshire from Salt to Baker including mortgages, and from Baker and Salt to Arnold. Red wax seals affixed to strips of parchment at foot of document. Parties' signatures above the fold. Statements confirming payment with Baker's, Salt's, and witnesses' signatures and notes in later hands on verso. Repair made to 1.5 cm hole in parchment at time of writing. Erasures and corrections on lines 12 and 39.
