Ownership
Written on the front pastedown are two inscriptions in black ink: "Meermanniana 179" and "Mediomontana 6759," the latter crossed out and corrected in pencil to 6760. Formerly in the collection of Sir Thomas Phillipps, his 6760, 6759 corrected to 6760 inscribed in ink below a stamp of a lion rampant and Sir T.P. Middle Hall. On the gutter of the first folio there is a signed note, partially obscured by an inartfully trimmed fly-leaf dated 1763.
Binding Information
Bound in modern white vellum over hard boards.
