Description
1 volume (92 leaves) : paper ; 21 x 17 cm
Summary
Lectures on German civil law given by Niemeyer at Greifswald in 1849. Lecture notes appear to have been copied and compiled by Gustav Gutsch. There are some interlinear notations. The author is identified as Theodor Niemeyer on a typescript title page in English that was bound in at a later date; however, Theodor Niemeyer, while an eminent German jurist, was born in 1857 and did not teach at Greifswald. The author is more likely to have been Franz Anton Niemeyer, a German jurist who was both living and teaching at the Universität Greifswald in 1849.
