Summary
Nota of a letter in which Philip, king of France and Navarre, asks "les Eueques de Laon [et] de Meaus, labbe de Saint Germain des pres, le conte de Fourais, Pierre de Dicy, et Thomas de Marfontainnes, nos conseilliers" to investigate the facts of a complaint from the bishop of Lisieux against the king's cousin Robert d'Artois diligently and quickly. Presumably once part of a notarial register, as remnants of stitching above and letters from another instrument below nota. Bottom margin unevenly trimmed.
