Summary
Notarial instrument recording an agreement between Guy de Chasteillon, seigneur de Fere, and Jehan, proctor of Saint [H?]enry de Bay[une?] relating to the administration of justice in Villemoyenne, a commune in the departement of Aube. Document is dated "lan mil ccc. xlij de venredy ap[re]s fste. saint barnabe apostre." Note in the upper left corner in later hand, identifies Guy de Chasteillon as "Guy de Chatillon" with the date "vers 1300." Notes on verso in four hands, including two that read "Villemoyenne," one that begins "Le prieur de Exaiue," and one that is largely illegible. Remnants of stitches at foot of leaf; slightly staining, particularly on the upper right-hand corner.
