Academic and legal regalia belonging to Lloyd McCullough Robbins. Collection includes two mortar boards, one with a yellow tassel supplied by "Collegiate cap and gown company, manufacturers academic apparel" and one with a bronze tassel and button supplied by "Intercollegiate bureau of academic costume"; French jurist's robes of wool with silk trim on the sleeves and an internal band with label reading "Maison Bosc & Fontaine, H. Bosc Luce, 3 Bc. du Palais, Paris" sewn in, a black toque, a scarlet epitoge with three rows of fur, and a pleated rabat (or jabot); and a J.D. robe made of poplin with labels "Cotrell and Leonard, Inc. 1935, Albany, NY" and "LMR" sewn in and hood of black poplin with slightly faded purple velvet trim and scarlet and yellow satin lining with label reading "Edw. Hyman, Co. Los Angeles San Francisco." Toque and epitoge currently on display.
